In the garden, this morning

The first of the tomatoes are finally starting to ripen,
the pimpernel puts in an appearance,
and the cupid's dart pierces my heart.

I'm at Mom's, and she only has one tomato ripe so far. Clearly you are living in even more of a hothouse than she is!

Oh dear carp, yes! I can't believe how humid it is out there this morning!

I am so jealous of your ripe tomatoes! Our summer in BC is dismal (no heat wave warnings for us!) that my tomatoes are still tiny green things that don't look like they will ever ripen.

"Only two things that money can't buy: one is true love the other, homegrown tomatoes" or so the C&W song goes. Enjoy them!

Oh I am jealous! My tomato plants have been sooo slow this year! I've only spotted the little green tomatoes in the last week and there's no sign of them turning red yet..! Love the flower photo's too!

Wow, that cupid's heart is mighty beautiful. I wish I had a yard in which to garden. We have a rubbermade for compost and a rubbermade for our tomato plants. I hear ya on the heat though! I work at a Renaissance festival just north of Chicago, so I have to be in full bodice, heavy skirt, underskirt, bloomers, bleh when there's a heat alert in most of the midwest!

I love watching people garden pictures! I'm amazed by the beauty of flowers! It's like such a miracle. I'm not very good with plants, but I'm learning and I surely appreciate whatever I can get ;-) I love visiting your blog!

You mean pimpernel is not always scarlet? Who knew?
