endless ends.

...ENDS.

clearly, this is the rarely-seen horrific side of striped things. at least the socks are done! and i mean all the socks. i grafted the toes of both the mates to the Snagglin' socks and the Queen of Cups socks this morning.

my other fancy news is that i finally got around to ordering that ball winder(!!!)

i must run, as the tagine is on the table. onward!

That's a lot of ends there! Good luck with that.
And congrats on the ball winder! Your life will never be the same. If you need a make-shift swift I've heard of people doing amazing things with lampshades.

Have fun with your wound balls!

Get thee to Sock P0rn, and start weaving your ends in as you go.

adriana: lampshade, huh? hmmm...
i had heard of people improvising a ball winder with their stand-mixers. i never got around to trying that (this is probably a good thing.)

heather: i can not wait to get my hands on the thing! and yes, that's another skill i need to pick up. that and working a different colour with each hand when doing colourwork.
